ANI, New Delhi. Today, at the AICC headquarters in Delhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge unveiled the emblem of ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’. In a press conference, he emphasized that the yatra will address the fundamental social, political, and economic concerns of the nation. Kharge stated on Saturday that ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ is a significant stride towards ensuring economic, social, and political fairness for the citizens of the country.

What is the starting date of India Joda Yatra?
As per Kharge, the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ will commence on January 14. Led by Rahul Gandhi, this journey will begin from Imphal in Manipur and traverse through 15 states of the nation, concluding in Mumbai. The Congress President has stated that this yatra will encompass 110 districts, 100 Lok Sabha seats, and 337 assembly seats.

Addressing PM Modi and the BJP, Kharge emphasized that we will engage with the public and convey that there is no alternative path apart from this endeavor. Kharge expressed, ‘We made efforts to voice our concerns and raise matters in Parliament. However, the government denied us any opportunity. It is unprecedented in the history of our nation that 146 MPs were suspended. While PM Modi attended the Lok Sabha, he didn’t even cast a glance towards the Rajya Sabha.’

Manipur issue raised again

The Manipur issue has once again been brought up by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. He expressed his disappointment with Prime Minister Modi’s actions, stating that while unfortunate incidents were occurring in the state, the Prime Minister seemed to be preoccupied with other activities such as visiting the beach, participating in photo sessions, overseeing temple construction, and traveling to Kerala and Mumbai. Kharge criticized the Prime Minister for being omnipresent in pictures, comparing it to the first glimpse of God after waking up. However, he questioned why the Prime Minister did not prioritize visiting Manipur. Additionally, Kharge accused the government of implementing new labor and criminal laws that he deemed as signs of a dictatorship.
