Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has convened a meeting of senior police officers on Saturday afternoon to discuss the blast incident at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru. The popular eatery, frequented by celebrities, experienced an explosion on Friday, March 1st, resulting in 10 injuries. CCTV footage from the cafe and surrounding areas has captured images of the suspect’s movements, providing valuable leads for apprehending the culprit, as per PTI reports.
Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar mentioned that the blast is under thorough investigation from various perspectives, with 7-8 teams dedicated to probing the matter. Shivakumar explained that a young individual placed a small bag at the cafe, which detonated an hour later, causing the low-intensity blast and injuring 10 individuals. He reassured the public, urging all Bangaloreans not to be alarmed.
Government will bear all the treatment charges’, said CM
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced that the government will cover all the medical expenses for the victims of the Bengaluru Rameshwaram Cafe Blast. Currently, there are 10 individuals who have been injured in the incident. Three of them are receiving treatment at Brookfield Hospital, while the remaining six have been admitted to Vydehi Hospital. The Chief Minister himself will be visiting the hospitals to oversee the situation. It is encouraging to see that the patients are showing positive progress in their recovery.
