At all five stations of RapidX, special arrangements have been made for the elderly and disabled individuals, providing additional benefits for students.

The 17-kilometer-long first section of the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System corridor, known as RapidX, is set to commence train operations in Ghaziabad next week. Special arrangements have been made at the RapidX train stations to facilitate the elderly, disabled individuals, and women to access the platforms easily. The stations in this section include Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, and Duhai Depot. All these stations are equipped with lifts and escalators for convenience.

Moreover, each station will provide free restroom facilities and drinking water. Separate provisions have been made for changing diapers for children as well. The commencement of operations is expected to benefit urban residents, as well as students studying in nearby villages and educational institutions.

1. Sahibabad: Three entrance-exit doors.

The Sahibabad station has a length of approximately 215 meters and a width of 25 meters. The station is divided into three levels, comprising the ground, concourse, and platforms. Safety screen doors have been installed on both platforms for the security of passengers. There are three entrance-exit doors at the station for the convenience of people. Among them, the first entrance-exit door is connected to Sahibabad Bus Stand, the second one leads to Vasundhara, and the third one is oriented towards the Sahibabad Industrial Area. The first entrance-exit door is connected to Sahibabad Bus Stand. The second entrance-exit door is connected to Vasundhara through a foot overbridge.

2. Ghaziabad: The tallest station on the corridor.

Ghaziabad station is the tallest station on the corridor, with an elevation of 26 meters above ground level. The station has a length of approximately 215 meters and a width of approximately 42 meters. It consists of four levels. To facilitate entry from the concourse to the platform level, the station is equipped with six escalators and three lifts. Additionally, it boasts the highest number of five entrance-exit doors among all the stations.

3. Guldhar: Four escalators for arrivals and departures.

The construction of Guldhar station is located near Rajnagar and Raj Nagar Extension. The construction of this station will benefit people in the surrounding areas, including Rajnagar Extension, Sanjay Nagar, and Neeti Nagar. The station has two entrance and exit doors. There are four escalators installed for the convenience of travelers for arrivals and departures, along with four lifts.

4. Duhai: Benefitting students studying in educational institutions.

Around Duhai station, there are more than 20 IT education institutes, with a significant number of students studying there. This will provide convenience to the students. Duhai station is being constructed right before the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Similarly, Duhai Depot station is also prepared.

5. Duhai Depot: From here, the train will proceed towards the elevated corridor.

The station has a length of 150 meters and a width of 15 meters. There are two entrance-exit doors at this station, with one lift each at the entrance-exit doors. Trains arriving from Duhai Depot will proceed towards the elevated corridor from this station. As soon as this station concludes, the ramp for the elevated track of the corridor is beginning.
