Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI and, for many, the face of generic AI, was sacked by the board of the company that created ChatGPIT on Friday, shocking the tech community.
Mira Muratti, the chief technology officer of OpenAI, will take over as CEO in an acting capacity. The firm has announced that it will launch a formal search for a permanent CEO.
