Three prominent OpenAI researchers, Jakub Pachocki, Alexander Madry, and Szymon Sidor, reportedly informed colleagues that they were resigning. This information was reported by news agency Reuters. Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI and, for many, the face of generic AI, was sacked by the board of the company that created ChatGPIT on Friday, shocking the tech community.
Mira Muratti, the chief technology officer of OpenAI, will take over as CEO in an acting capacity. The firm has announced that it will launch a formal search for a permanent CEO.
The statement also stated that Greg Brockman, the chairman of the board and another co-founder of OpenAI, would leave his position as chairman of the board but would continue to work for the firm. but afterwards

Brockman commented, “What the board did today shocked and saddened Sam and me.” He added that a little while later, he received word of his dismissal from the board in a different conversation with Sutskever.
When questioned about Altman’s purported lack of candor, OpenAI declined to comment. According to the statement, his actions were impeding the board’s capacity to carry out its duties.
