“Arvind Kejriwal Updates: Delhi Minister Atishi Alleges BJP’s Offer to Join Party Through Close Aide”

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was transferred to Tihar Jail on Monday and will be housed in Jail Number 2, as reported by ANI citing sources. He has been remanded to judicial custody until April 15 in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case. The Enforcement Directorate brought Arvind Kejriwal before the court and had requested a 15-day judicial custody in the excise policy case. The Delhi court had extended the ED custody of Arvind Kejriwal until April 1.

Following the conclusion of his Enforcement Directorate custodial remand, Kejriwal was presented before the Rouse Avenue Court. In a display of solidarity, leaders of the ‘INDIA’ bloc gathered at the ‘loktantra bachao’ (save democracy) rally on Sunday and criticized the NDA government for its “dictatorial” actions and alleged misuse of the ED and other central agencies to manipulate the Lok Sabha elections by imprisoning its opponents and freezing party bank accounts.

Earlier, Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Arvind Kejriwal, launched a WhatsApp campaign ‘Kejriwal ko Ashirwad’ in support of the Delhi Chief Minister. During a digital media briefing, Sunita Kejriwal stated that her husband has taken on the “most corrupt and dictatorial forces” in the country and urged people to show their support through blessings and prayers. Stay tuned for live updates.

Atishi stated that the AAP remains united and strong, even with Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and other leaders from the party currently in jail, according to the BJP’s perspective.

The ED mentioned Saurabh Bharadwaj and myself in court yesterday based on a statement that has been in possession of both the ED and CBI for eighteen months. This statement is included in the ED’s charge sheet as well as in the CBI’s charge sheets. The statement was brought up because the BJP now believes that even with Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and Satyendra Jain in custody, the Aam Aadmi Party remains cohesive and robust.

Atishi mentioned that Kejriwal will retain his position as the Chief Minister due to the strong support he has in the Delhi Assembly.

Atishi, the Delhi minister, emphasized that Arvind Kejriwal holds a significant majority in the Delhi Assembly, thus there is no justification for his resignation. Additionally, she pointed out that if he were to resign now, it would provide a convenient opportunity for the Bharatiya Janata Party to overthrow the opposition governments.

Delhi minister Atishi asserts that she was approached by BJP, through one of her trusted associates, with an invitation to join their party.

Atishi, the Delhi Minister and AAP leader, revealed that she was approached by a member of the BJP, who is close to her, with an offer to join their party in order to safeguard her political career. She further stated that if she refuses to join the BJP, she anticipates being arrested by the ED within the next month.
