“Arvind Kejriwal Granted Bail with 4 Restrictions: Supreme Court Ruling”

New Delhi. The recent decision by the Supreme Court to grant interim bail to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has brought a sense of relief to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). This development allows CM Kejriwal to resume his election campaign, which was put on hold due to his arrest in a money laundering case linked to Delhi’s alleged liquor scam. Despite the bail, the Supreme Court has imposed certain restrictions on Arvind Kejriwal, including prohibiting him from entering the Chief Minister’s office or Delhi Secretariat.

These conditions set by the apex court must be adhered to by CM Kejriwal during the interim bail period. The support and warm welcome received by Arvind Kejriwal upon his release from Tihar Jail indicate the strong backing of party workers and family members. This turn of events follows the arrest of CM Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21, leading to his judicial custody until the recent grant of interim bail. The Supreme Court’s decision has also granted bail to senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh in the same case.

Arvind Kejriwal won’t be able to do these 4 things:

Despite being released on interim bail, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will face numerous restrictions that will hinder his ability to carry out his duties. The Supreme Court has imposed strict conditions, preventing Kejriwal from entering the Chief Minister’s office or the secretariat. Additionally, he will be unable to sign government files, unless the Lieutenant Governor deems it necessary. Furthermore, Kejriwal is prohibited from communicating with witnesses involved in the money laundering case linked to the repealed excise policy of Delhi. These four significant limitations will greatly impact Kejriwal’s actions during his time on interim bail.

Divine Blessings of Lord Hanuman’:

After being released from Tihar Jail, Kejriwal, known for his admiration towards Lord Hanuman, attributed his freedom to the blessings of the deity. Upon exiting gate number four of Tihar Jail, AAP leaders, workers, and party supporters greeted him warmly. Standing on the sunroof of a car, Kejriwal spoke to AAP workers and supporters amidst chants of ‘Jail locks broken, Kejriwal freed’. He announced plans to visit the Hanuman Temple at Connaught Place at 11 am on Saturday and hold a press conference at the AAP office at 1 pm. Meanwhile, allies of India Bloc have also expressed their joy regarding the Supreme Court’s decision.
