Arvind Kejriwal claims BJP attempted to lure 7 AAP MLAs by offering them a sum of Rs 25 Crore !

Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) made an attempt to entice seven Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs by offering them a sum of Rs 25 crore in order to persuade them to defect, with the ultimate goal of overthrowing the government in Delhi.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accused the BJP of attempting to lure seven Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs in Delhi by offering them Rs 25 crore to switch sides. According to Kejriwal, the BJP held talks with the AAP MLAs and allegedly threatened to arrest him soon in the liquor policy case. The AAP has claimed to have tape-recorded the conversation of the BJP leader. In a recent post on X, Kejriwal stated, “They have recently approached seven of our Delhi MLAs and stated, ‘We will arrest Kejriwal in a few days. After that, we will persuade the MLAs to join us. Talks have been held with 21 MLAs and we are also engaging with others. Subsequently, we will overthrow the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi. You can also join us. We will provide Rs 25 crore and you can contest the elections on a BJP ticket’.”

According to our sources, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) claims to have contacted 21 MLAs, but it appears that only 7 MLAs have been contacted so far, and all of them have refused. The Chief Minister has made these statements.

Furthermore, Kejriwal has accused the BJP of attempting to overthrow the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi because they are unable to defeat AAP in elections. He believes that the BJP’s intention is not to investigate any liquor scam but to conspire against the AAP government. Kejriwal asserts that despite numerous attempts by the BJP to topple their government in the past, they have always been supported by the people and have remained strong. He believes that the BJP’s motive behind arresting AAP members on false charges is to destabilize the government.

Delhi Minister Atish has also accused the BJP of trying to create political unrest in Delhi. According to her, a tape has surfaced in which a BJP leader is heard discussing the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal and the poaching of 21 MLAs to topple the government. She claims that all AAP MLAs have refused the money offered to them. She further states that this is a common strategy employed by the BJP, as they have previously toppled governments in Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, and Arunachal Pradesh. She believes that the BJP resorts to such tactics in places where they are unable to win elections.

ALLEGATIONS DENIED BY BJP

Dismissing the accusations made by the Delhi Chief Minister, Kapil Mishra, a BJP leader, asserted that Arvind Kejriwal has a history of dishonesty, which he has continued to exhibit on multiple occasions.

Mishra stated, “Kejriwal has failed to provide any details regarding the phone number used to contact him, the identity of the person who contacted him, and the location of the meeting. Instead, he simply makes baseless statements and then disappears… His associates are currently incarcerated, and he is deliberately evading the ED summons because he knows he lacks the answers to their questions.”

These allegations from Arvind Kejriwal have emerged amidst reports suggesting that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is preparing to join the BJP-led NDA, thereby terminating the ruling alliance with Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).
