Amrit Bharat Express Train Inauguration: Prior to the commencement of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the inaugural journey of India’s first Amrit Bharat Express will commence from Ayodhya. As per the available information, the Amrit Bharat train will incorporate push-pull technology similar to that of the Vande Bharat Express.

Amrit Bharat Express Train Launch Date: There is delightful news for individuals traveling via the Indian Railways. The Amrit Bharat Express train will soon be launched, following the footsteps of the Vande Bharat Express. On December 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the nation’s first Amrit Bharat train. The train will be flagged off by PM Modi, commencing its journey from Ayodhya to Delhi.

Designed on the lines of Vande Bharat

Designed based on the concept of Vande Bharat, the Amrit Bharat Express is set to commence its operations from Ayodhya prior to the inauguration of the Ram Temple. Similar to the Vande Bharat, the Amrit Bharat train will utilize the push-pull technology, where one engine pulls the train forward while the other pushes from behind. This innovative design enables the train to accelerate quickly, resulting in significant time savings during turns, bridges, and stations along the route.

One of the notable features of the Amrit Bharat Express is its ability to maintain stability and minimize jerks during the journey. Additionally, the train’s toilet design ensures efficient water usage. The maximum speed of the train will be 130 km per hour, and the fare will only be approximately 10 percent higher than regular trains. Both the Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat Express have been manufactured as part of the Make in India initiative.

Passengers on the Amrit Bharat Express will benefit from mobile charging points at every seat, as well as a specially designed ramp for easy wheelchair access. The train will offer the same facilities as the Vande Bharat, including 22 coaches comprising of 8 general second class coaches, 12 second class 3-tier sleeper coaches, and 2 guard compartments. Additional amenities such as CCTV cameras, modern toilets, sensor water taps, and an announcement system will also be available on board.
