Amit Shah Declares: ‘Article 370 Will Never Return’ as BJP Unveils J&K Poll Manifesto !

Senior Union Home Minister and leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled the party’s manifesto for the Jammu and Kashmir elections on Friday in Srinagar, declaring that the Article 370 abrogation could not be reversed.

“Wiping out terrorism and separatism in the state” was the first of the party’s 25 promises, and it was followed by a focus on and improvement of women’s financial security and self-reliance.

In the third promise, five lakh jobs are to be created in Jammu and Kashmir; in the fourth, college students will receive a travel stipend of Rs 3,000 per year through DBT as part of the “Pragati Shiksha Yojana.”
“We will enable the youth of Jammu & Kashmir preparing for competitive exams like JKPSC and UPSC,” is another promise made. Another discusses giving pupils in distant higher secondary classrooms tablets or computers to use while they study.
The saffron party also pledges to encourage small companies and established enterprises while advancing and developing Jammu and Kashmir’s economy.

The BJP has promised, among other things, to treble the old age, widow, and disability pensions from Rs 1,000 to Rs 3,000, ensuring a dignified living for the disadvantaged sections. Additionally, they have increased the scope of the Ayushman Bharat Sehat Scheme from Rs 5 lakhs to Rs 2 lakhs, ensuring that everyone has access to inexpensive healthcare.

Before the party released its “Sankalp Patra,” Shah declared, “Article 370 is history and will never return.” The nation’s citizens and the government acknowledge that Article 370 has been revoked.

Three waves of elections have been scheduled for September 18, 25, and October 1 in Jammu & Kashmir.
Currently present at a core group meeting are State President Ravinder Raina, Union Ministers Kishen Reddy and Jitender Singh, and other attendees. They spoke about spreading the manifesto’s message throughout the whole state.

It’s also likely that preparations for the prime minister’s visit will be covered.
