Ganderbal Attack Updates : Terrorists Armed with Rifles Captured in First Visuals !

Pictures of two terrorists who were part of the attack that killed a doctor and six migrant workers earlier this week at a tunnel construction site in the Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir have surfaced. The terrorists are seen in the CCTV film brandishing an AK-47 and an M4 carbine assault rifle, both of which are manufactured in the United States.
The seven victims of the Sunday attack were members of a construction crew working on the Z-Morh tunnel, which runs through the Ganderbal area between Gaganeer and Sonamarg.

The photos show terrorists breaking into a camp for laborers and other employees involved in the tunnel project.

On Sunday night, after the victims had returned to the camp, the attack took place.
Both terrorists were tall, thin, and bearded. They wore grey shawls wrapped around black clothing.

Sources told India Today TV that The Resistance Front (TRF), a division of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, claimed responsibility for the attack the day after it occurred.

According to them, the attack was planned by TRF commander Sheikh Sajjad Gul, a Srinagar native, and was executed for the first time by the group’s local module, which targeted both Kashmiris and non-Kashmiris.

The sources claim that two to three terrorists were involved in Sunday’s attack, and that the TRF had been conducting a retreat of the Sonamarg site for the past month.

With teams from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) searching the region for vital evidence, authorities have arrested over 40 people for interrogation since Sunday. On Monday, the Army, CRPF, and police forces also began a massive search and rescue operation called Sonamarg.

Three of the seven victims—Dr. Shahnawaz, Shashi Bhushan Abrol, and Gurmeet Singh—have been identified.

One of the bloodiest assaults on migrant laborers in the Kashmir Valley was this one.

Ashok Chauhan, a Bihar migrant worker, was murdered by terrorists in the Shopian area on October 18. Chauhan’s bullet-riddled body was discovered by locals in Zainapora’s Waduna neighborhood.

Terrorists killed Raju Shah, a migrant worker, in a targeted attack in the Anantnag district in April.

The TRF has been targeting Sikhs, Kashmiri Pandits, and others in the valley for almost two years.
