Vettaiyan On Thursday, October 10, Rajinikanth’s most recent film, The Hunter, also known as Vettaiyan, debuted in theaters. Enthusiasts and viewers were unable to contain their enthusiasm as they began discussing the movie as soon as it opened. Fans of Rajinikanth had nothing but positive things to say about the movie, particularly in reference to Thalaivar’s portrayal of SP Athiyan IPS.
They were also happy with how Amitabh Bachchan and Fahadh Faasil performed in their respective parts.
“This time, Thalaivar made a compelling presentation in a novel manner. With his comedic timing, Fahadh Faasil puts up a fantastic performance. Ritika in a commanding position. Overall, it’s a Rajinified thriller (sic) with fewer fan moments, which may disappoint some people, a fan commented on X.

On X, a moviegoer expressed a mild dissatisfaction with the film, writing: “Vettaiyan largely relies on Rajinikanth’s charm, with strong character development and storyline. It may not live up to the expectations of viewers seeking a fresh cinematic experience or a tightly wound thriller, but it does have its moments and may delight admirers of the superstar and those interested in its thematic themes.”
Another viewer commented that although it takes some time to get engrossed, the film is an engrossing drama about an investigating crime.

Vettaiyan, which is directed by TJ Gnanavel of Jai Bhim fame, centers on a well-known encounter specialist who is under pressure to resolve a rape case and punish the offender as soon as possible. After being apart for 33 years, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan are back together in the movie Hum from 1991.
In addition to the two stalwarts, the movie features important characters played by Ritika Singh, Kishore, Rao Ramesh, Dushara Vijayan, Fahadh Faasil, and Manju Warrier. On October 10, Vettaiyan made its global theatrical debut one day before Jigra, starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina.
