Nitin Gadkari’s Caution to BJP: ‘Avoid Congress Mistakes or Face Consequences’!

Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister, warned the BJP against making the same mistakes as the Congress, which resulted in their removal from power. He emphasized the BJP’s distinct identity and the trust it has consistently earned from voters, citing LK Advani’s statement that “BJP is a party with a difference.” Speaking at a high-level party meeting in Goa, Gadkari stated, “If we continue to follow the Congress’s footsteps, then their exit and our entry will be meaningless.”

During the Goa BJP executive meeting, the Union Minister emphasized the unique nature of the party by quoting his mentor, former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani. He highlighted the importance of avoiding the mistakes made by other political parties, particularly the Congress, in order to maintain the BJP’s distinctiveness. The minister stressed the need for party members to focus on using politics as a tool for societal and economic progress, rather than for personal gain. Additionally, he called for a comprehensive strategy to establish a corruption-free nation. Furthermore, Gadkari discouraged the practice of caste-based politics, citing the example of neighboring Maharashtra, and vowed to refrain from engaging in such divisive tactics.
