No Issues in Ram Temple Construction:- Misra Confirms !

AYODHYA/LUCKNOW – Nripendra Misra, the chairman of the Ram Temple Construction Committee, firmly denied any flaws in the temple’s construction and dismissed the claim made by chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das regarding rainwater seepage from the temple’s roof.

Misra stated, “There was no water leakage, but rather rainwater came down from the pipes that were fixed to install electric wires. I personally inspected the temple’s building, and I can assure you that there is no flaw in the construction work. Once the roof of the second floor is completed, the rainwater will no longer enter the temple.”

He further emphasized that engineers from the Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) in Roorkee visit Ayodhya twice a month to review the ongoing construction work and submit their reports.

In response to the allegation of negligence, Misra explained that on the advice of seers, water is collected in a small kund (pond) in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Mandir and is not flushed out after the jalabhishek (water offering) to Ram Lalla. This water is then used by the seers. He also clarified that only priests are currently allowed in the sanctum sanctorum for the jalabhishek, and therefore the amount of water used is limited.

Misra acknowledged that during heavy showers, rainwater may enter the temple’s sanctum sanctorum due to the temple being open. However, he assured that corrective measures would be taken to address this issue.

Overall, Misra’s statements aim to refute the claim of water accumulation and highlight the ongoing monitoring and commitment to the temple’s construction.

The leakage of rainwater from the roof above the area where the priest sits in front of Ram Lalla’s idol and where people come for VIP ‘darshan’ has been reported. The Ayodhya administration has provided clarification that a section of the 12.90-km Ram Path collapsed at Rikabganj due to a sewer line. It is important to note that the road was built under the defect liability period clause of five years, which means that any damage occurring to the Ram Path within the next five years will be repaired by the construction agency.
