Nag Ashwin invites Elon Musk to drive Bujji from ‘Kalki 2898 A.D.’: A great photo-op with the Cybertruck

Director Nag Ashwin and Prabhas recently introduced the unique Bujji, a specially crafted vehicle designed for Kalki 2898 AD, during an event in Hyderabad. Since then, they have been actively promoting it through different channels. Following a review by Autocar, actor Naga Chaitanya and F1 racer Narain Karthikeyan also had the opportunity to test it out. Now, Nag is extending a special invitation to Tesla founder Elon Musk, inviting him to personally experience the groundbreaking Bujji.

‘It’s a 6 ton beast’

Following the display of Bujji in Hyderabad, Nag transported the vehicle to Chennai where it was maneuvered along the streets. After a video of this was shared on X (formerly Twitter), the director personally invited Elon Musk, proposing a potential collaboration between Bujji and his Cybertruck, “Dear @elonmusk sir… We would be honored to have you visit and test drive our #Bujji.” He further mentioned, “It’s a 6 ton powerhouse, completely #madeinindia, fully Electric & a marvel of engineering. I believe it would create a fantastic photo opportunity alongside your cybertruck (seeing them drive together would be quite a spectacle).” The official Bujji account retweeted Nag’s post, stating, “Greetings @elonmusk. #BujjiCallingElonMusk.”

Bujji’s introduction

Initially, Nag unveiled a behind-the-scenes video to present Bujji’s ‘mind’ – a robot that experiences anxiety and impatience while its ‘physical form’ is being constructed by the team. Subsequently, during an event in Hyderabad, a three-wheeler vehicle was introduced to the press and a chosen group of audience members. Keerthy Suresh lends her voice to Bujji, who serves as Prabhas’ character Bhairava’s loyal companion in the futuristic film Kalki 2898 AD. Additionally, a teaser was unveiled to acquaint viewers with the remarkable vehicle.
