“Sushil Modi’s Mortal Remains Arrive at RSS Office in Bihar, State Funeral with Honors Planned”

The mortal remains of former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Sushil Kumar Modi, have been transported from Delhi to Patna today. Subsequently, his body will be taken to his residence in Rajendra Nagar, Patna, and then to the BJP office. Following this, the final rites will be conducted. Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda is expected to be present at the funeral. Additionally, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed his condolences to Sushil Modi’s wife over the phone.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed profound sorrow over the passing of former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Sushil Kumar Modi. He referred to Sushil Modi as a valued colleague and a long-time friend. PM Modi also reminisced about the BJP’s growth in Bihar and its significant role in the implementation of GST. In an Instagram post, PM Modi shared an old photograph of himself with Sushil Kumar Modi and wrote, “I am deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Sushil Modi ji, my esteemed colleague in the party and a friend of many years. His invaluable contributions have played a pivotal role in the rise of the BJP and its accomplishments in Bihar.

By vehemently opposing the Emergency, he carved out a distinct identity for himself in student politics. He was renowned as a diligent and affable MLA. His profound understanding of political matters was commendable, and he also excelled as an administrator. His active involvement in the passage of GST will always be remembered.
