PM’s Bold Forecast: Congress Won’t Surpass 40 Seats in Lok Sabha, Predicts UP Wipeout

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the Congress will not secure a single seat in Uttar Pradesh during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. In an interview with India Today, he emphasized the BJP’s goal of winning over 400 seats in the elections. PM Modi confidently mentioned that the Congress will not be able to leave a mark in the state. He also highlighted Rahul Gandhi’s decision to contest from Wayanad and then Raebareli, stating that the people of Uttar Pradesh are questioning his actions. Additionally, PM Modi praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the development seen in the state under his leadership, emphasizing the rejection of dynasty politics by the people of Uttar Pradesh.

The Prime Minister recounted a conversation with his late mother, Heeraben Modi, where he mentioned his plans to work for Kashi once the BJP takes over the state from the Samajwadi Party. He also commended the hard work and dedication of BJP leaders and chief ministers, stating that their commitment to principles and ideologies is a source of pride for him.

Regarding Sharad Pawar’s comments on regional parties aligning with Congress, PM Modi suggested that it signifies an acknowledgment that the Congress alone cannot challenge the BJP effectively. He also emphasized that the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is a matter of devotion rather than politics, criticizing the Opposition for boycotting the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony and suggesting that those who did not participate would now feel apprehensive.
