Lok Sabha Polls 2024: During his speech at a rally in Telangana’s Karimnagar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a swipe at the Congress party. He questioned the Congress leaders, referring to them as the “Shehzadey of Congress,” about the amount of black money they have received from industrialists like Adani and Ambani. PM Modi also highlighted the alleged connection between Congress and BRS through their appeasement politics. Following the rally, PM Modi is scheduled to visit Warangal, Rajampet, and attend a roadshow in Vijayawada.

In the meantime, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is expected to campaign in the Gandhi family strongholds of Amethi and Raebareli today. While MP Rahul Gandhi is contesting from Raebareli, his sister Priyanka is actively working to strengthen the party’s presence in the region.

PM Modi criticized the Congress party during his speech in Karimnagar by pointing out that the party’s leaders used to mention the names of ‘five industrialists’, ‘Ambani’, ‘Adani’ for years. However, he noted that since the elections were announced, they have refrained from criticizing Ambani and Adani. PM Modi questioned the Congress leaders, asking how much black money they have received from these industrialists and how much funding the party has received from them for the elections.

In Karimnagar, PM Modi emphasized the impact of the people’s votes in Telangana over the past decade. He credited their support for propelling India to become the world’s fifth largest economy and for the successful abrogation of Article 370, which brought peace and prosperity to Jammu and Kashmir. Additionally, he highlighted how their votes transformed India from a defense importer to a defense exporter. PM Modi also took the opportunity to criticize the Congress and BRS, stating that while the BJP prioritizes the nation’s interests, these parties prioritize their own families. He described them as two sides of the same coin, both driven by the ‘Family-First’ principle.
