“NEET UG 2024 Exam Scandal: Paper Leak Sparks Nationwide Outrage – Insights from NTA”

Complaints have surfaced regarding significant irregularities in the administration of NEET UG 2024, a major national entrance examination. An FIR has been filed following reports of a NEET paper leak in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Furthermore, a fake candidate was apprehended attempting to take the exam in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Similarly, in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, there was an incident where English medium papers were mistakenly distributed to Hindi medium candidates. Subsequently, chaos ensued among the candidates and their parents. Additionally, in Sikar, Rajasthan, a candidate assaulted another candidate outside the examination center. Despite this, the assailant managed to take the exam without any hindrance, while the police awaited his return outside.

The Bihar Patna Police have initiated legal action by filing an FIR following confidential information regarding the leakage of the NEET UG paper. Numerous individuals are currently being held in custody and are being questioned by the authorities, including NEET candidates. Furthermore, multiple raids are being conducted in various locations across Patna. Another raid took place last night as well.

English papers to candidates from Hindi medium backgrounds.

A remarkable incident occurred at the examination center of Adarsh Vidya Mandir in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Surprisingly, English papers were mistakenly given to Hindi medium candidates, while Hindi papers were given to English medium candidates. This error caused a great commotion among the candidates. As per the report, when the candidates raised their objections, they were treated disrespectfully. In the midst of the chaos, several candidates left the examination hall with their respective papers. The report also suggests that the candidates were provided with separate papers and OMR sheets. This situation has raised concerns that the papers might have been tampered with and leaked beforehand.

What was NTA’s statement regarding the paper leak?

The National Testing Agency has acknowledged that incorrect papers were distributed at a center in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. In a notice issued by the NTA, it has been brought to their attention that during the NEET UG 2024 examination, the Center Superintendent of Girls Higher Secondary Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Mantown, Sawai Madhopur, mistakenly handed out the wrong paper. As a result, despite efforts by invigilators to prevent it, some candidates left the examination center with their papers. This incident caused a significant uproar in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, with numerous candidates being affected. In response, the NTA stated that the decision to conduct a re-examination on May 5 was made in order to ensure equal opportunities for all candidates. Approximately 120 students who were impacted by this incident were given the opportunity to retake the examination at the affected center.
