Jaiveer Singh, the Minister of Tourism and Culture in Uttar Pradesh, emphasized that the primary goal is to deeply engage tourists in the indigenous culture and distinctive rural lifestyle, facilitated through internet-connected hubs.
Singh further highlighted the vast potential of Uttar Pradesh’s rich cultural heritage and picturesque landscapes, underscoring the significant opportunities for tourism expansion, particularly within the rural sector. Additionally, he revealed that the state government is extending subsidies to support the establishment of farm stays near major tourist destinations, as outlined in the Tourism Policy of 2022.
