Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Bihar on Saturday to inaugurate the memorial of a prominent BJP leader and speak at a public gathering of the party’s OBC Morcha. State BJP spokesperson Manoj Sharma stated that upon his arrival, Shah will proceed to the Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI) located on the outskirts of Patna. “A park dedicated to the late Kailashpati Mishra has been established on two acres of land provided by ATARI. The home minister will officially open the park and reveal a statue of the deceased leader,” the BJP representative mentioned.
Mishra, a respected figure in the Jana Sangh, served as a minister in the Bihar government under Karpoori Thakur’s leadership before becoming the BJP’s inaugural state president.
Following the event, Shah will head to Paliganj to deliver a speech at a public gathering organized by the BJP OBC Morcha.
K Laxman, the president of the party’s OBC Morcha, stated that the event in Paliganj is a component of the ‘10,000 samajik sammelans’ that the organization will be hosting nationwide. These gatherings aim to inform the numerically influential backward classes about the measures implemented by the Narendra Modi government at the Centre for their welfare.
