According to news agency ANI, Mohammed Rasool Kaddare, a resident of Yadgiri in Karnataka, has been charged with making threats to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The FIR was filed after Kaddare posted a video on his social media account, where he can be seen brandishing a sword and issuing the threat. The Surpur police station in Yadgiri has registered the FIR against him under sections 505(1)(b) and 25(1)(b) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Arms Act.
