According to a recent study, more than 60% of educators in the nation are utilizing AI tools for teaching, preparation, and student management. However, 9.49% of them express concerns regarding the potential decrease in human interactions in teaching and excessive dependence on technology.

In line with this transformative trend, the education sector has embraced AI as a means of revolutionizing its practices. Recent research reveals that over 60% of educators in the nation have integrated AI tools into their teaching methodologies, preparation techniques, and student management systems.
In the report “Revolutionizing Classrooms: The Impact of Generative AI on the Future of Education,” conducted by TeamLease EdTech, a noteworthy 63.61% of educators recognize the pivotal role of AI in preparing students for a future dominated by artificial intelligence. The findings underscore the growing acknowledgment within the education sector regarding the significance of AI tools.
Shantanu Rooj, Founder and CEO of TeamLease Edtech, emphasized the significance of AI in classrooms, stating that it is not just an emerging technology but a reality that is already transforming education in India. He highlighted that AI tools like ChatGPT have the potential to greatly enhance learning experiences by providing personalized assistance, promoting critical thinking, and offering additional resources to students. However, Puneet Bajpai, an educator, stressed the importance of careful implementation and consideration of ethical and privacy concerns for the successful integration of AI tools in educational settings. The report revealed that a majority of educators (62.88%) supported a balanced approach to AI use in classrooms, while only a small percentage (17.05%) advocated for unrestricted AI use.
