DM Chandrashekhar closed the Schools in Patna before Transfer. Now, prepare for February, a direct challenge to KK Pathak.

Patna: Although the District Magistrate of Patna, Chandra Shekhar Singh, was transferred on Friday evening, before leaving, he once again issued an order to keep all schools in Patna closed until January 31st. It is difficult to say whether it is out of love for the children or bureaucratic inefficiency. However, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, KK Pathak, had expressed his displeasure with the previous order to close schools in this manner. Despite this, the Patna DM has once again issued an order to keep all schools up to 8th grade closed until January 31st due to the cold and chilly weather conditions in the district.

Despite the challenges, they continued to persevere even after the transfer.

In the freezing cold of Bihar, two IAS officers brought warmth to the bureaucracy. Eventually, the transfer of DM Chandrashekhar Singh in Patna took place. He had challenged K.K. Pathak last time as well. Even after the transfer, he continued to pose challenges.

In fact, K.K. Pathak had given orders that schools would not be closed due to the cold. Despite the orders of the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, Chandrashekhar Singh closed the schools in Patna. The directive to keep schools closed until January 23 was issued. Now, even after the transfer, a notice has been issued to close schools until January 31.

This is what is written in the order to close the school.

The notice issued by the Patna district administration states that the weather in the district is cold and the temperature is particularly low during the morning and evening, which may have adverse effects on the health and well-being of children. Therefore, I, Dr. Chandra Shekhar Singh, District Magistrate, Patna, under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, hereby impose a ban on all educational activities for all classes in all private/government schools in Patna district (including pre-schools, anganwadi centers, and coaching centers) before 9 am and after 3:30 pm. The school management is directed to reschedule the mentioned activities in accordance with the above order. The operation of special classes with utmost caution for Mission Daksh and board examinations will remain unaffected. This order will be effective from 27th January and will remain in effect until 31st January.
