Tata Motors recently introduced the Punch EV, their fourth all-electric vehicle, in India. The starting price for this model is Rs. 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries of the Punch EV have now begun nationwide.
The Tata Punch EV is available in five different variants: Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+. The first two variants are only offered in the Standard Range version, while the latter three are available in both Standard and Long Range options.
The Punch EV is equipped with two battery pack choices: a 25kWh unit and a 35kWh unit. These batteries provide a claimed range of 315km and 421km, respectively. The Long Range version of the Punch EV can generate a power output of 190Nm of peak torque.
In terms of its features, the Empowered+ variant at the highest specification level is equipped with a spacious 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless compatibility for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, a wireless charger, an air purifier, ventilated front seats, and an auto-dimming IRVM. Additionally, it offers a blind spot monitor, a 360-degree surround camera, automatic climate control, paddle shifters for regen modes, an electronic parking brake, and a touch-based HVAC panel.
