“Money Laundering Probe: Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav Summoned by Investigation Agency”

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a fresh summons to Lalu Prasad Yadav, the patriarch of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), along with his son and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav. This summons is in relation to the alleged railways land-for-jobs money laundering case. According to sources, the father-son duo has been asked to appear for questioning at the ED’s Patna office. Lalu Prasad has been summoned to appear on January 29, while Tejashwi is called the next day, on January 30. Both politicians have been instructed to depose at the Enforcement Directorate office on Bank Road in Patna. It is worth noting that both Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi had previously skipped the summons issued by the probe agency. The recent summons was delivered to the official residence of Lalu Prasad’s wife and former Bihar Chief Minister, Rabri Devi.
