“Virat Ramayan Temple:- the largest Ram temple in the world, being built on a vast 140-acre land in Bihar”

Bihar News: The construction of the Virat Ramayana Temple in East Champaran, Bihar, is now under the responsibility of the company tasked with building the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Acharya Kishore Kunal, Secretary of Mahavir Temple Trust in Patna, announced that the construction of the Virat Ramayana Temple has commenced and Tata Consulting Company will oversee its development.

Kishore Kunal revealed that Tata Consulting Engineers Limited has been entrusted with the crucial role of ensuring the quality, timeliness, and technical aspects of the entire project. The company has been appointed as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the Virat Ramayana Temple. He further informed that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today at Mahavir Temple between Saurabh Mulla, the General Manager of the company, and the temple authorities. Consequently, the company will assume full responsibility for the construction of the Virat Ramayana Temple.

Acharya Kishore Kunal emphasized that the company’s primary responsibilities include the technical aspects such as lift installation, ensuring the quality of work, conservation efforts, and adhering to the designated timeline for the temple’s design. The company will closely supervise the construction process. The target completion date for the temple’s construction has been set for 2025.

Shivlinga is being built 33 feet high:

The construction of the Virat Ramayana Temple, located on the Ram Janaki Marg in East Champaran, is underway. Spanning an area of 140 acres, the temple will be an impressive structure, with the main temple measuring 1080 feet in length and 540 feet in width. Its height will reach 270 feet, making it a remarkable sight. Within the temple, a 33 feet high and 33 feet circular Shivalinga will be installed, which will be the largest in the world and will showcase evidence of Sahastra Lingam. This Shivlinga, carved out of black granite rock in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu, will weigh a staggering 200 metric tons. The Virat Ramayana Temple will also house a total of 22 temples, with 12 peaks, including the second tallest peak at 198 feet. Additionally, there will be four peaks at 180 feet, one at 135 feet, and four at 108 feet. The piling work for the temple began on June 20th of this year.

Ram Rasoi was started by Mahavir Temple:

In Patna, the Mahavir Temple has initiated a significant project called Ram Rasoi. Following the Supreme Court’s decision regarding the Ram Temple, Ram Rasoi was established a few months ago. Initially, it was open from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm, providing meals to people. However, with the upcoming inauguration of the temple on January 22nd, Ram Rasoi will extend its operating hours from 9:00 am to 9:30 pm starting from January 15th. This will allow people to enjoy two meals at the temple. Ram Rasoi serves authentic Bihari cuisine, ensuring that no one goes hungry from their premises.
