“Upcoming Apple Watch to Include Blood Pressure Monitoring and Sleep Apnea Detection Features”

“Apple plans to release its 10th anniversary Watch in 2024.”

A new report from Bloomberg hints that Apple’s upcoming 10th Gen Apple Watch might bring in some groundbreaking health-focused features like monitoring blood pressure and detecting sleep apnea. Mark Gurman’s Power on newsletter suggests that the 2024 Apple Watch models will get a major upgrade to attract a wider range of customers.

The report also mentions a possible significant change in design for at least one Apple Watch. It’s not certain whether this design revamp will be for the high-end Ultra watch or the regular versions that typically come in two different sizes.

Reportedly termed as the 10th-anniversary edition, the forthcoming watch slated for release in Q3 of 2024 is rumored to undergo significant changes. Anticipated adjustments include a reduction in weight and thickness, potentially integrating a novel magnetic mechanism for the straps. Alongside the anticipated redesign, these watches are predicted to introduce a suite of fresh health-oriented functionalities. These features might span across various health concerns, such as more accurate monitoring of hypertension, precise blood pressure tracking, and the ability to detect sleep apnea.
